Now is the time to try something new!  Our fall semester runs 10 weeks between September and December.  Singing is good for the soul so why not give it a try?  Contact our studio or just go for it and register online!  Go to "VOICE STUDIO" and "REGISTER FOR CLASSES" but be sure to first look at the "SERVICES & FEES" page so you know what we have to offer!

We have added some new services like "SING WITH A BAND" and have had inquiries regarding group singing, which we are now going to offer. (max 5 people in group)

The studio has been a busy place and it's hard to believe it's already May!  Here are some of the things we've been up to:
  • Rooted Concert Series: "Rooted & Beyond" for artists under the age of 19 at Nyala Restaurant
  • Rooted Concert Series teamed up with Foundation Radio to produce "Sounds of Our Underground" at FORTUNE SOUND CLUB featuring True Fold, Quest Poetics and the Airtights!  Great night had by all!
  • Vocal Studio had a showcase in March featuring 5 of our talented young artists.  Next one coming up JUNE 12th at Nyala Restaurant
  • We've got two talented arts educators in schools working with kids doing musical theatre and theatre improv:  Michelle Yuen and Megan Phillips, as part of our partnership with the Vancouver School Board
  • We will presenting "Youth Out Loud!  Musical Theatre" at the new Mount Pleasant Community Center in August.  If you are interested in having your kids be a part of it, please contact the center directly!
  • Jessi Nicholson has been busy performing around Vancouver.
  • Soul Sistahs will be doing a show coming up on July 24th at the Cambrian Hall.  (check out the artist page under "MUSIC")

We are gearing up for another semester and look forward to seeing students develop as artists!  Our showcase is tomorrow at Nyala 4148 Main Street at 2pm if you'd like to stop by and check it out!  We are still accepting new students.  Contact us if you are interested.

We have moved our studio space into a brighter, fresher area.  it is cozy, intimate and a lovely work space right in front of a big picture window!  Things are busier than ever.  We recently sent out three of our voice actors to do Disney contracts. (video game voice over)  We also just sent an artist to teach musical theatre in an elementary school for our "Arts In Motion" artists in schools program.  Our vocal studio is thriving with new clients as well as clients that have been with us for up to 3 years!

We are quickly approaching the Rooted Concert Series' first all ages show entitled "Rooted & Beyond" taking place at Nyala Restaurant on Main Street.  Sunday, January 31st, 2010  2-6pm  We are accepting submissions for our next show as well!  Date/Location TBA

So lots going on and great things to come!  We can feel it!

Dear friends...

Well, good things  are in store for the studio and for music in general!  It's amazing that when you work with the right people that things just seem to fall into place.  When good intention is behind the people, then the flow happens and everyone wins!

We are now accepting new students for our Vocal Coaching Program and are gearing up for our December 13th Vocal Showcase.

The Rooted Concert Series' all ages show "Rooted & Beyond" will take place on Sunday, January 31st, 2010 and will be featuring some students from this studio as well as other youth in the community, including some performers from "1 Luv" and "Cobb House Studio".  Very exciting to see our up and coming musicians makin' some moves!!

Well the studio is going strong and there's lots of great things going on!

We've got about 14 private voice students and are gearing up for the showcase in December.  One of our students, Stephanie, just performed three original songs at Trees Organic Coffee House on November 6th...she's getting ready to record a demo album with Quest Poetics!  Stay tuned for more studio news!!!
